Τη Δευτέρα 12 Οκτωβρίου 2026, πραγματοποιήθηκε με μεγάλη συμμετοχή το Γεύμα Εργασίας που διοργάνωσε η Ένωση Τραπεζικών και Χρηματοοικονομικών Στελεχών της Ελληνικής Ναυτιλίας για τη Ναυτιλιακή Λέσχη Πειραιώς, με επίτιμους ομιλητές την κυρία Βασιλική Λαζαράκου, Πρόεδρο της Ελληνικής Επιτροπής Κεφαλαιαγοράς και τον κύριο Σπύρο Καπράλο, Πρόεδρο του Διοικητικού Συμβουλίου της Star Bulk Carriers Corp.
Στο επίκεντρο της συζήτησης βρέθηκαν η επιτυχημένη εισαγωγή της Star Bulk Carriers Corp. στο Euronext Athens και οι νέες δυνατότητες άντλησης κεφαλαίων για την ελληνική ναυτιλία μέσω της εγχώριας κεφαλαιαγοράς. Ιδιαίτερη έμφαση δόθηκε στον ρόλο της διαφάνειας, της ισχυρής εταιρικής διακυβέρνησης και της αξιοπιστίας της αγοράς στην προσέλκυση επενδυτών, καθώς και στις προοπτικές ανάδειξης της Αθήνας σε διεθνές ναυτιλιακό επενδυτικό κέντρο.
Η εκδήλωση ολοκληρώθηκε με εποικοδομητικό διάλογο μεταξύ των ομιλητών και των συμμετεχόντων.

On Monday, 12 October 2026, the Piraeus Marine Club hosted a highly attended Working Luncheon organised by the Association of Banking & Financial Executives of the Greek Shipping Industry, featuring distinguished speakers Vassiliki Lazarakou, Chair of the Hellenic Capital Market Commission, and Spyros Capralos, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Star Bulk Carriers Corp.
Discussions focused on Star Bulk Carriers Corp.’s successful listing on Euronext Athens and the new opportunities for Greek shipping to raise capital through the domestic capital market. Emphasis was placed on the importance of transparency, strong corporate governance and market credibility in attracting investors, as well as on the potential for Athens to emerge as an international maritime investment hub.
The event concluded with a constructive exchange of views between the speakers and attendees.
