Την εκδήλωση άνοιξε ο Πρόεδρος της Ναυτιλιακής Λέσχης Πειραιώς, κ. Paris Xanalatos, ο οποίος ευχαρίστησε θερμά τους επίσημους προσκεκλημένους και τα μέλη της Λέσχης για την παρουσία τους.

Στην συνέχεια ο επίτιμος καλεσμένος και κεντρικός ομιλητής, κ. Κικίλιας, πήρε τον λόγο απευθυνόμενος στους εκλεκτούς καλεσμένους και Μέλη της Ναυτιλιακής Λέσχης Πειραιώς που γέμισαν την αίθουσα του εστιατορίου «Σταύρος Α. Νταϊφάς».

Μετά το γεύμα, ακολούθησε συζήτηση ανάμεσα στα παρευρισκόμενα μέλη και τον Υπουργό σε ευχάριστο και εποικοδομητικό κλίμα.

The Piraeus Marine Club hosted a Working Luncheon Tuesday, 16 June 2026, with the Minister of Maritime Affairs and Insular Policy, Mr. Vassilis Kikilias, as guest of honour and keynote speaker.

The event was opened by the President of the Piraeus Maritime Club, Mr. Paris Xanalatos, who warmly thanked the official guests and members of the Club for their presence.

The guest of honour and keynote speaker, then addressed the distinguished guests and members of the Piraeus Maritime Club, who filled the hall of the restaurant “Stavros A. Daifas.”

After the lunch, a discussion took place between the attending members and the Minister in a pleasant and constructive atmosphere.

ΤΩΝ ΜΕΛΩΝ ΤΗΣ ΝΑΥΤΙΛΙΑΚΗΣ ΛΕΣΧΗΣ ΠΕΙΡΑΙΩΣ

Το Διοικητικό Συμβούλιο της Ναυτιλιακής Λέσχης Πειραιώς σύμφωνα με το άρθρο 19 του Καταστατικού,  καλεί τα Μέλη της να παρευρεθούν στην  Ετήσια Τακτική Γενική Συνέλευση Απολογισμού η οποία θα πραγματοποιηθεί την 28^η Μαΐου 2026, ημέρα Πέμπτη και ώρα 13:00,

στα εντευκτήρια της  (Ακτή Μιαούλη 51, 9^ος όροφος) με θέματα ημερησίας διατάξεως τα ακόλουθα:

1. Έγκριση των πεπραγμένων της  Ναυτιλιακής Λέσχης περιόδου 1.1.2025 έως 31.12.2025
2. Έγκριση Ισολογισμού και Απολογισμού Οικονομικής Διαχειρίσεως της ίδιας χρονικής περιόδου.
3. Υποβολή Εκθέσεως Εξελεγκτικής Επιτροπής και έγκριση της.
4. Απαλλαγή των Μελών του Διοικητικού Συμβουλίου και της Εξελεγκτικής Επιτροπής

από κάθε ευθύνη για τη Διαχείριση της ίδιας χρονικής περιόδου.

5. Έγκριση Προϋπολογισμού 2026

Δικαίωμα συμμετοχής έχουν τα Τακτικά Μέλη που έχουν εκπληρώσει όλες τις οικονομικές υποχρεώσεις τους

σύμφωνα με το άρθρο 21 του Καταστατικού.

Σε περίπτωση μη επιτεύξεως απαρτίας κατά την πρώτη συνεδρίαση,

η Γενική Συνέλευση θα επαναληφθεί

 την 11η Ιουνίου 2026, ημέρα Πέμπτη και ώρα 14:00, στα εντευκτήρια της Ναυτιλιακής Λέσχης.

OF THE PIRAEUS MARINE CLUB

The Piraeus Marine Club’s Board of Directors has the pleasure to invite its Members, according to art. 19 of its Bye-Laws to participate in the Annual General Meeting, that will be held on Thursday, May 28^th, 2026 at 13:00 pm at its premises (Akti Miaouli 51, 9^th floor),

with the following Agenda.

1. Approval of the Board’s Annual Report for the period 1.1.2025 – 31.12.2025

2. Approval of the audited Balance Sheet & Financial Report for the same period.

3. Submission of the Report of the Members Financial Control Committee and its approval.

4. Release of the Members of the Board of Directors and the Members of the Financial Control Committee

for any liability arising for the same period.

5. Adoption of the 2026 Budget

All regular members are eligible to participate, provided they have settled all their financial obligations to the Club as per By-Laws art. 21.

 In case   there is no quorum on the first date, then the Annual General Meeting will be held

on Thursday 11^th June, 2026 at 14:00 at the premises of the Piraeus Marine Club.

Με την ευγενική δωρεά του Μέλους μας κ. Γεώργιου Σπ. Αλεξανδράτου, Προέδρου του Ναυτικού Επιμελητηρίου Ελλάδος και πρώην Προέδρου της ΝΛΠ, η Λέσχη διαθέτει πλέον απινιδωτή, ο οποίος βρίσκεται στη reception. Παράλληλα, 10 μέλη του προσωπικού εκπαιδεύτηκαν από τον Ελληνικό Ερυθρό Σταυρό στη χρήση απινιδωτή, στις πρώτες βοήθειες και στην ΚΑΡΠΑ.

Παράλληλα, την Πέμπτη 30 Απριλίου 2026 πραγματοποιήθηκε η 9η Αιμοδοσία της Τράπεζας Αίματος «Αλέξανδρος Σταματιάδης» 🩸, η οποία λειτουργεί εδώ και 9 χρόνια υπό την αιγίδα των Τραπεζών Αίματος Δημητρίου και Ιωάννη Βλων, σε συνεργασία με το Νοσοκομείο Σωτηρία. Η προσφορά αίματος προς τον συνάνθρωπο που έχει ανάγκη αποτελεί σανίδα σωτηρίας για τον ίδιο και τους οικείους του.

Ευχαριστούμε θερμά τα Μέλη και τους φίλους της Λέσχης για τη συμμετοχή τους, καθώς κάθε μονάδα αίματος μπορεί να σώσει έως και 3 ζωές.

Ανανεώνουμε το ραντεβού μας για την 10η Αιμοδοσία, την Παρασκευή 9 Οκτωβρίου 2026.

The Piraeus Marine Club continues to support initiatives focused on people and the protection of human life.

Thanks to the generous donation of our Member Mr. Georgios Sp. Alexandratos, President of the Hellenic Chamber of Shipping and former President of the Piraeus Marine Club, the Club now has a defibrillator, located at the reception area. In addition, 10 members of our staff were trained by the Hellenic Red Cross in the use of the defibrillator, first aid, and CPR.

Furthermore, on Thursday, 30 April 2026, the 9th Blood Donation Drive of the “Alexandros Stamatiadis” Blood Bank 🩸 took place. The Blood Bank has been operating for the past nine years under the auspices of the Dimitrios and Ioannis Vlon Blood Banks, in cooperation with Sotiria Hospital. Donating blood to those in need is a true lifeline for both patients and their loved ones.

We warmly thank the Members and friends of the Club for their participation, as each unit of blood can save up to three lives.

We look forward to welcoming you to the 10th Blood Donation Drive on Friday, 9 October 2026.

Κατά τη διάρκεια των Ποσειδωνίων, η Ναυτιλιακή Λέσχη Πειραιώς θα είναι ανοιχτή από Δευτέρα 1η έως Παρασκευή 5η Ιουνίου 2026 (10:00–18:00), υποδεχόμενη την διεθνή ναυτιλιακή κοινότητα.

Επίτιμη ομιλήτρια ήταν η κα Μαρία Ευθυμίου, Ιστορικός και Ομότιμη Καθηγήτρια Ιστορίας στο Εθνικό & Καποδιστριακό Πανεπιστήμιο Αθηνών, η οποία παρουσίασε μια συναρπαστική δίωρη διάλεξη για την εξέλιξη της παγκόσμιας ναυτιλίας τα τελευταία 4.000 χρόνια και τον ρόλο των λαών της θάλασσας, με ιδιαίτερη αναφορά στη συμβολή των Ελλήνων.

Η εκδήλωση άνοιξε από τον Πρόεδρο της Λέσχης, κ. Πάρι Κ. Ξανάλατο, ενώ προηγήθηκε προβολή ειδικού βίντεο για τη ζωή στα εμπορικά ποντοπόρα πλοία, το οποίο προβάλλεται και στα ελληνικά σχολεία.

Στο κεντρικό τραπέζι συμμετείχε ο κ. Γεώργιος Σπ. Αλεξανδράτος και ο κ. Παναγιώτης Τσάκος, παρουσία εκπροσώπων της ναυτιλιακής, ακαδημαϊκής και πολιτικής κοινότητας.

The Piraeus Marine Club hosted a Working Luncheon on Monday, 4 May 2026, with the topic “From the Mediterranean to the seas of the Earth: leaps of seamanship, leaps of civilization”.

Guest speaker Mrs. Maria Efthymiou, Historian and Emeritus Professor of History at the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens, delivered a fascinating two-hour lecture on the evolution of global shipping over the past 4,000 years and the role of maritime nations, with special emphasis on the contribution of the Greeks.

The event was opened by the Club’s President, Mr. Paris K. Xanalatos, and included the screening of a special educational video about life aboard merchant vessels currently shown in Greek schools.

Among those at the head table were Mr. Georgios Sp. Alexandratos and Mr. Panagiotis Tsakos, alongside distinguished guests from the maritime, academic, and public sectors.
